TX-Specific Requirements We Handle

Franchise Tax (Margin Tax)

Due May 15 annually. Calculated on margin (revenue minus COGS or compensation). No tax is due at or below the no-tax-due threshold ($2.65 million for 2026–2027 reports), but an information report is still required.

Sales & Use Tax

State rate 6.25%, plus local (up to 2%). Monthly/quarterly filing. We handle exemptions and remote seller rules.

Public Information Report (PIR)

Annual filing with Texas Secretary of State – ownership and officer information. We ensure accuracy.

Rates, thresholds, and deadlines mentioned on this page are general information and change often. Confirm current figures with the Texas tax agency or a licensed advisor before acting on them.
